Heading in to the middle of nowhere… The Australian ‘Outback’. On roads like this it becomes impossible to judge perspective and distance as the landscape offers no visual cues except flat, endless earth. Here we pulled over just to hear the silence of the landscape. We sat as the sun set with no sound but the ringing in our ears and the irregular tick of the Jeep’s engine as it cooled down.
